"Martini Shot" is a film shot this Summer of 1999 in Monterey, California, by Sal Gallagher of Red Eye Films. In the picture top left, Sal watches the screen as action goes on. The picture top middle is Sal and I close up. In the picture top right, baby brother Kyle and I at Lovers Point Park between takes and in the bottom center picture, you can see me in the brown overalls in the front about the third person over. We’re all playing orphans in this scene (and you thought we were just tired and dirty naturally…). Above my left shoulder is Oriana and in the bottom left corner is Elizabeth, both of whom I know from LCA.

This was a fun shoot and we kind of turned it into a little vacation before I had to start back to school. We went to the Monterey Aquarium, walked on Cannery Row (kind of like Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco) and had a lot of fun. We went to the Dennis the Menace Park which was nearby which was a lot of fun (they even have a real train there to climb on). And at the beach at Lovers Point Park, Oriana and I waded in looking for hermit crabs. Overall, I had a great time!
