MY FAVORITE DOLL
 
"My Favorite Doll" is a magical special effects film I play Leilani, a lonely little girl whose parents are too busy to spend time with her. Her Dad, on one of his many business trips overseas, picks up a special doll for Leilani. Much to Leilani’s surprise, whenever she and her doll are left alone, the doll comes to life and Leilani is off on a series of adventures in both the real world and the doll world with her new and special best friend.
 
This is being written and produced by Amour Arenzana of Makalani Productions, who will also have a role in the film as my mom. Amour also plays my mom in "My Little One", another independent film that I was cast in… The doll is played by Katrina who I met at Lights-Camera-Action! Extras in the film include my brother Kyle (his debut!), Nick, Kayla and Trevor Lahoz and Lucas Ottoboni… The whole crew was so nice to me, Jennifer (Director of Photography), Laura, John, Sal ("sound test") and of course Bill who provided digital filming and a great barbeque!!! I can’t wait to see the final version, which will appear in a series of film festivals beginning with the Chicago Film Festival…
